Examples are: oˈariocele[Gr. κήλη tumour], hernia or tumour of the ovary. oariˈopathy[see -pathy], disease of the ovary; hence oarioˈpathica., pertaining to oariopathy. oariˈotomy[Gr. τοµή cutting], excision of the ovary, ovariotomy.
